Julia's Yin Yoga
Whether you are an experienced Yogi or new to the practice, Yin Yoga is meant for everyone; from professional athletes to people with desk jobs, the young and the old, those seeking spiritual goals, or simply desiring physical and mental well-being.
Yoga, for me, is the path to finding the balance between my active and calm approach in daily life.
It goes beyond physical exercise, which I also love much, enriching my emotional well-being and cultivating gratitude.

How my life brought me here
"My life has unfolded in a unique and rewarding manner, akin to a timeless reverse journey. Originating in my home country of Costa Rica, I embraced the role of a dedicated homemaker at a young age, nurturing both my familial responsibilities and my passion for various sports, notably indulging in enriching yoga classes while pursuing my interests in science, history, languages and more... I just love to learn!
During the 90s, I contributed my skills at the CR airport for KLM, subsequently gaining invaluable experience at their headquarters. Subsequently, my journey led me through diverse paths, including a sojourn in São Paulo, culminating in my arrival in the Netherlands in 2000.
While in this new setting, my children transitioned into adulthood, and I found myself delving deeper into athletic pursuits such as tennis, aerobics, and fitness. What was once my pastime soon embraced a professional dimension, as I transformed my passion into a vocation. Renewing my commitment to yoga and integrating it into my daily routine has become a defining aspect of my journey.
My time in the Netherlands saw me engaging in various yoga disciplines, including Bikram, Ashtanga, Hatha, and Power Yoga.
I've gained valuable experience and inspiration from workshops at the Yoga Academy Floripa in Sicilia.
I achieved a milestone by acquiring an international instructor diploma in Yin Yoga, Vinyasa and Meditation at Arhanta Yoga Ashram NL.
